On November 25, 1852 at Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts, Joseph William Bond joined the family of William and Mary Ann Barker Bond. Soon thereafter, Bond family moved wets with other Mormons to settle the valley of the Great Salt Lake. In 1864 they moved on northeastward to a small village called Heneferville, where Joseph gew up. Later he married and move dto settle Mesa, Arizona. He passed away in 1943 at the age of 90 years.

Prudence Priscilla Richins was born on January 8, 1860 in Salt Lake City, Utah. A year later her family moved moved to Heneferville, Summit County, Utah. Her father, Charles Richins, had been called by President Brigham Young to help settle this village. He was later ordained bishop of the Hennefer Ward. Prudence grew up in Hennefer and maried Joseph William Bond. Much of their marriad life was spent building up Mesa, Arizona, where she passed away in 1932 at the age of 72 years.
