My darling girllie And all the rellatives
How are you all this rainy morning all wll I hope as leaves us it has been quit stormy weather for some time cloudy and showery just enough to keep it muddy and nasty but we like it that way don’t you?
Well I went up to Spring Citty during Conference and had a visit with the folks up there but Oh how sad nearly all the old friends are dead and gone I could keep from crying there was not a place that looked natural only Uncle Abes ten acre it looked just as it did when we lived there Bro Lambets house has fallen down and Fathers house Aunt Nans Brougles Will Blains and I dont know how many more houses are gone some places they have built new houses they are bulding new houses they are bulding a big white Brick where aunt Nans hous Stood nearly all I met was children of those that lived there when we as there I Said to one of the Roan Broughs sons those that were children when we left are Fathers and Mothers now he said I wasent here the Neither was he his Father was not married when we left there now he is the Father of two children he married one of Fans girls I staid two day and a night with her She is a nice woman I was Royelly by evry body I staid a day and night with Fan I staid the most of the time Henrys it was so stormy I couldent gete out much I went to Mauds a few minutes in the evening I got got She went to conference and She had not got back when I came home Simon took me in his car and brought back he is in the Temple he works in the temple all the time he is very nice to me when he met in the temple he grabed me in his arms and kissed me before all the folks and hw has been very good to me all the time and he is a good man and is well respected by every body I went to see Patrece [?] Munson She has three nice girles had one son and he went on a missiion to New Zealand and died there She is very comfortable and very pleased to See wanted me to stay to Supper but it was geting late and I could not stop longer and met Naena Larson and her husband I was lost of course and blunded in to place She ask if I was a stranger in the place I told her I was but had lived there a long while ago She asked my name and I said Sister Adam She said Mary Adams I said yes and who are you She Said Naeme Larson and I had to go in and have a talk with them his was the only face that looked natural that I meet Henry wife is as sweet as she can be gets along with the girles so nice and they are very nice to ker Speak so nicely of her She has two little boys one is three years old and the baba is six months old is a very nice and cute baba Henry get along with his famly very nicely one of Fans girles married John Baxters Son he is qute a nice look boy they havent been married very long. I cant think of anythink of any more to tell you. Now I want you to find just how much money has been paid by you folks there in Thatcher Hettie and Millicent and all of you have been so crazy I have not kept an account of it and cant remmeber how I never knew noy much Hettie gave me She put some in my purse and I did see how much it was how much was the dress She gave me the Stockings was one dollar and sixty cts and my kimmona that Millicent made I want to know how to pay my tithing they have got my place rented for five dollars a month gold and I want to turn it on my tithing this is a long letter and I will have to close with much love to you all Aunt Tib and Uncle Frank Sends their kind regards to you all as ever Your loving Mother.
