My dear daughter
How are you all   I hope you are all well as this leaves us   I am so anxious to hear from down there  I have written so many letters down there and only one answer   I dident think you was so glad to get rid of me that you did not want to hear from me    My head is in such a whirl I cant write and I want to write   I want to hear from you and how you got along with Juanita and the children   I want see you all so bad I can hardly stand and I want to get away from here   I never saw such children in my life but they dont say anything   when you write if you do Allie and Lem are good to me but the children   Old Nick himself couldent come up with them    I feel sometimes like I would go crayzy and you will   I have all ready gone crazy long ago and I believe I have   I know that Mittie is the meanest child I ever saw   the saucest most disobedient hatful little stink I ever saw and I have seen lots of children   I have finished four little quilts since I came here    one Herald one for Bessies baba one for Allie and one for Ray   did he get and how does he lik it   does it suit   I will make another   Georgia gave me 3 dollars and furnished to goods for making Bessies and Herald give 2  for making and Allie gave me cloth enough to make another for making hers and they are going to take me to Virden in the car as soon as he gets his car in runing order   he has sent for new fixtures and they will be here soon    All and all the children will go so I think we will have a merry trip and I will be glad when the trip is over and I can be settled down where it will be a little quite and see if I can get my right mind again   I think this is all I can think of to day and I think you will be glad of it by the time you get it read   it is a gumbled up mess but it is not half as much gumbled as my head is   Allie and Lem sends love and best wishes to you
your loving mother   love to all
